Accused NH Killer Arrested After 6 Days On The Run

NH authorities said Paul Dimick shot and killed Justin Lee in Manchester then fled the scene.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police on Wednesday afternoon arrested an accused killer in Manchester who was on the run for nearly a week. Paul Dimick (pictured), 26, of Manchester, is accused of shooting and killing a 32-year-old man in Manchester Friday morning then fleeing scene. He was tracked down Wednesday afternoon to an East High Street house in that city and arrested, according to New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon MacDonald.

"Dimick was seen exiting a house ... and was taken into custody without incident this afternoon," MacDonald said in a statement.

Dimick is accused of shooting and killing Justin Lee at or near a Hanover Street residence Friday at about 11 a.m. Police and a SWAT team descended on the area and said Dimick may have tried to hide at another Hanover Street residence. A standoff ensued and students at the nearby Central High School were held in the building until about 9 p.m. Police then determined Dimick had fled the area and allowed students to go home.
