NH Fugitive Of Week Caught Thanks To Citizen Tips: Marshal

The NH Fugitive Task Force said Julio Gonzalez was wanted in connection with an indecent exposure case.

CONCORD, NH -- This week's New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week was captured thanks to tips from citizens, according to U.S. Marshals. Julio Gonzalez, 59, was wanted for failing to appear in court in an indecent exposure case. Officers tracked him down to Strafford and arrested him Thursday morning, according to Deputy U.S. Marshal Jeffrey White. Gonzalez was held in custody pending an arraignment in Strafford County Superior Court.

The New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week program is a collaboration between U.S. Marshals, state police agencies and local media.

Anyone with information on wanted individuals is asked to contact the New Hampshire Fugitive Task Force at 603-225-1632 or 1-877-WANTED-2. Citizens can also submit anonymous tips online.

"The Fugitive of the Week program ... continues to be a great tool for law enforcement here in New Hampshire," U.S. Marshal David Cargill said in a statement. "The sheer volume of tips and the resulting safe and successful arrests proves the value of the partnerships between law enforcement, the media and the public."
