NH Fugitive Of Week Wanted In Assault, Drug, Theft Cases

The New Hampshire Fugitive Task Force said Dawn Russo is wanted in connection with assault, drug and theft cases.

CONCORD, NH -- This week's New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week is a 42-year-old woman wanted in connection with assault, drug and theft cases. Dawn Russo, a Massachusetts native, was last known to be in the Barnstead area, "where she has ties to friends and associates throughout the area," according to the New Hampshire Fugitive Task Force.

Russo is 5 feet 5 inches and 170 pounds. She has a pierced tongue and tattoos on her shoulder and calf.

Russo has been wanted since August 29 on a failure to appear charge related to a first-degree assault case in Belknap County. She is also wanted by sheriffs in Hillsborough County and Merrimack County for failure to appear charges related to drug and theft cases.

Anyone with information on Russo's whereabouts is asked to contact the New Hampshire Fugitive Task Force at 603-225-1632 or 1-877-WANTED-2. Citizens can also submit anonymous tips online.

The New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week program is a collaboration between U.S. Marshals, state police agencies and local media.
