NH McDonald's Police Fundraiser For Officer Training

All 54 New Hampshire McDonald's restaurants will host a fundraiser for the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police.

CONCORD, NH -- McDonald's restaurants across New Hampshire will hold a police fundraiser Wednesday. All 54 New Hampshire McDonald's restaurants are participating in the fundraiser, which will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Local officers will be on hand to publicize the effort. All Granite State McDonald's restaurants will donate a portion of sales during that time period to the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police for officer training.

"McDonald’s franchisees across New Hampshire are proud to show our continued support for all the Police Departments statewide," said Peter Napoli, a New Hampshire McDonald's owner, in a statement. "As business owners, we see the positive impact the police have on our communities and residents, protecting us day in and day out, and we’re proud to raise funds so they can operate at their highest level."

During the fundraiser, a local area police officer and a cruiser will be on site to greet customers and collect donations.

A previous fundraiser raised $50,000 in 2016 and Napoli said the restaurants are hoping to exceed that total this year.
