Steve Negron Wins NH Congressional Race, Will Face Kuster
Republican Steve Negron will face Congresswoman Ann Kuster in November for the Second District seat.

CONCORD, NH — Nashua resident and State Representative Steve Negron on Tuesday defeated six challengers for the Republican nomination to face incumbent Democratic Congresswoman Ann Kuster in the November election. Negron won a tight race, just edging Stewart Levenson, a doctor.
With 95 percent of New Hampshire precincts reporting, these were the race results, according to The Associated Press:
- Steven Negron: 26 percent of the vote (winner)
- Stewart Levenson: 25 percent
- Lynne Blankenbeker: 23 percent
- Robert Burns: 16 percent
- Brian Belanger: 6 percent
- Jay Mercer: 3 percent
- Gerard Beloin: 1 percent
The Second District includes the Patch communities of Concord, Nashua, Salem, Milford, Amherst and Windham.

In the First District, Republican Eddie Edwards and Democrat Chris Pappas won their respective primaries to replace Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter, who is retiring.
