'Wonderful & Selfless' Concord Mom Gets Shoutout From Daughter-In-Law

CONCORD, NH— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

Deanna is a wonderful and selfless stay-at-home wife and mother! She has four sons — ages 30, 26, 28 , and 7! She also has nine grandchildren, including one on the way. She has many talents from crocheting her grandchildren’s first blankets to being the best pharmacy tech around! Deanna is my mother-in-law , but treats me like nothing less than her real daughter. She will go out of her way to support her family no matter the circumstances. Her best quality is her straightforwardness and her loving nature. We know that no matter what we can always call on her for a shoulder to lean on. Many times we forget how important she is to our family. We just want to thank her and give her the recognition she deserves on this Mother’s Day!

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

Her contribution to our family is a thankless job. She’s a maid, a therapist, a wife, a cook , a nurturer and the bestest friend you could ask for. While she knows she’s loved , sometimes it’s easy to forget just how much you mean to those who love you the most.
