How to Make A Thanksgiving Centerpiece
Residents will learn how to make floral arrangements on Friday.

A floral arrangement event in the LHS cafeteria on Friday will bring friends and family together just before the Thanksgiving holiday.
Jim Giguere, owner of Countryside Florists in Londonderry, will come to the workshop with all of the materials necessary to make centerpieces. The event is sponsored by the Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO).
PTSO spokesperson Missy Haas, who has been part of the organization for a few years, said that the fundraiser has been going on for years, and it has done very well.

"It is really such a hit," she said. "A lot of people come with their friends, it's a girls night out."
Haas said that Gigure takes those in attendance through the creation of the arragnement step by step.

Haas said that about 40 people are expected, and the registration deadline is being extended beyond yesterday due to the holiday.
Money made from the arrangement workshop goes directly to the PTSO scholarship fund and teacher grants.
Registration for the event, which will take place at 7 p.m., is $35. You can access the form here.
