LHS Teams Looking for Playoff Success
Three local teams have a shot at Division I championships.

Of all the high schools in New Hampshire with teams still active in postseason play, Londonderry has the most squads that still have shots at Division I championships.
The following is a summary of recent and upcoming tournament contests:
Girls Basketball
The fourth-ranked Lady Lancers, 64-35 winners over No. 13 Nashua South in last week's playoff opener, defeated fifth-ranked Nashua North, 73-55, Saturday night.

The victory secured Londonderry a spot in the Division I semifinals where they play No. 1 Bishop Guertin at Southern New Hampshire University on Thursday, March 6, at 7:30 p.m. For a complete look at the bracket, click here.
Ice Hockey
The third-ranked Lancers, who enjoyed a first-round bye to begin the playoffs, opened Division I postseason action with a 3-2 overtime win against No. 6 Salem this past Saturday.

The triumph earned the locals a spot in a state semifinals against No. 2 Manchester Central. The game is currently scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, at JFK Ice Arena in Manchester. Click here for a look at the full tournament bracket.
Boys Basketball
The 5-13 LHS boys basketball squad backed into the playoffs with losses in seven of its last eight regular season games.
Tonight, they travel to the Manchester Central to face the second-ranked Little Green at 7 p.m.
