IMAGE GALLERY: First Day of School

Students, teachers, and administrators crowded into the Londonderry schools for the official start of the 2012-2013 school year on Aug. 28.

Many already had their new books in hand by the time the first day of school came to a close, as hoards of kids swarmed outside during the rainy morning and sunny afternoon.

In front of the high school, long-tenured administrator Art Psaledas clutched a bus chart, directing students new and old to the location of their buses.
