Londonderry Police Connecting With Community In 2025
The campaign kickoff on Monday brought residents, officers, and others together at Market Basket to enjoy pizza and meet K-9 "Rio."
LONDONDERRY, NH — On Monday, officers and employees from the Londonderry Police Department held the first event of its 2025 Connecting with our Community Campaign.
Market Basket Store 42 (Londonderry) Manager Chris Stetson hosted our first event, which was well received by all involved. Officers and staff handed out complimentary slices of pizza, junior officer stickers, and Connecting with our Community support wrist bands. Community K-9 Officer Sean Benoit and K-9 Rio were the most popular in attendance but detectives, patrol officers and our two civilian prosecutors also made the event.
Capt. Patrick Cheetham, who commands the Communications and Community Events Division of the police department said, “While we annually participate in dozens of community events, this year we are purposely scheduling recurring events at locations throughout town in an effort to simply say hello and thank you to the community that employs and supports us.”

He asked residents, visitors, and business owners take a minute to meet the men and women who protect and serve our amazing town when you see us at such an event. We welcome all feedback and need to hear about your concerns, your thoughts about the town, and what matters to you.
