Man Killed In Londonderry When A Branch Falls Causing Traumatic Injury
Police and fire responded to Shasta Drive for a man struck by a large branch while working on a tree. Londonderry police are investigating.

LONDONDERRY, NH — Londonderry firefighters and police responded to Shasta Drive Wednesday for a man trapped under a fallen tree.
Firefighters arrived at the scene at about 9:35 a.m. and found a man with severe injuries after being struck by a fallen branch. Two additional engines were requested to the scene.
Londonderry Fire Department provided Advanced Life support measures, but the man could not be revived despite life-saving efforts and died at the scene.

A NH Medical Examiner’s Office member responded to the scene to assist Londonderry detectives with the on-scene investigation.
Londonderry Police Captain Patrick Cheetham said the victim's name would not be released pending the notification of the next of kin.
