Woman Robbed At Gunpoint In Casino Parking Lot In Manchester

Police arrested Estevan Perez Ortiz, 26 who is accused of armed robbery with a deadly weapon on South Willow Street.

MANCHESTER, NH - A Manchester man has been arrested after being accused of an armed robbery in a parking lot of the casino at 1279 South Willow Street Friday.

Police arrived at 7:30 p.m. and learned a woman in the parking lot was approached by a man — identified as 26-year-old Estevan Perez Ortiz — who had a firearm and allegedly stole her wallet.

Officers quickly set up a perimeter around the parking lot area and began searching for Ortiz and the firearm.

Ortiz reportedly ran towards South Willow Street and police searched for the suspect with the help of a police dog.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage, on which they saw him run to a silver Honda Odyssey.

Police departments in surrounding towns were notified of the description of the van, plate, and Ortiz's name.

A warrant was issued for Ortiz's arrest, and he was located and arrested Wednesday.

He is facing charges of armed robbery with a deadly weapon and will be arraigned at Hillsborough County Superior Court on Thursday.
