1. National Effort to Outfit Police Dogs: You can help equip police dogs with bullet proof/stab proof vets through this national initiative by Project Paws Alive and Groupon Grassroots. Something different, but worthy. Details here.

2. College Scholarships for Do-Gooders: If your college student shows leadership and community commitment, they should definitely  apply for this Citizen's Bank TruFit Good Citizen Scholarship Program, which will award a total of $50,000 this year.

3. Book of Golden Nominees Award Nominations Sought: The Breakfast Exchange Club of Nashua is accepting nominations for its annual Book of Golden Deeds Award. This award is given each year to honor a person, group of persons or organization who unselfishly donates their time, talent and energy to help improve the quality of life of seniors in the greater-Nashua community.
