Armed Nashua Man Hit By Car In Texas Roadhouse Showdown: Police
Manchester police said Nicholas Richer met a rival at Texas Roadhouse to settle a social media dispute and pulled a gun but was hit by car.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested after police said he pulled a Glock and threatened a rival in a pre-arranged showdown at Texas Roadhouse in Manchester Tuesday night. The suspect, Nicholas Richer, 23, was subsequently hit by a car and disarmed by one of the rival's friends, police said. Richer was charged with two counts of criminal threatening and rioting. All the charges are felonies.
The incident unfolded in the parking lot of the restaurant on South Willow Street and was the culmination of an "ongoing social media dispute" between Richer and the 22-year-old victim, police said.
"Nicholas Richer ... agreed to meet the 22 year-old male victim to settle an ongoing feud by engaging in a physical altercation in the restaurant parking lot," Manchester police said in a statement. "Both Richer and the victim notified several friends, so multiple people were on scene when the incident occurred."

The victim has his 23-year-old girlfriend arrived in the victim's pickup truck and Richer arrived in a BMW armed with a Glock, police said.
"Richer allegedly pulled his BMW in front of their truck and hastily approached the vehicle with a gun in his hand," police continued. "Richer had pointed his Glock 19 at the windshield, so the victim placed his vehicle in reverse and attempted to flee the area. Both victims felt Richer was going to shoot them because he kept the gun pointed at the vehicle as he ran after the moving car."

At that point, one of the victim's friends hit Richer with his vehicle "to prevent a possible shooting," police said. The impact knocked Richer to the ground and sent the gun flying out of his hand, police said. The friend held Richer at gunpoint while calling 911, police said, and Richer was arrested. No other arrests were announced.
Richer was held on $80,000 bail pending an arraignment Wednesday in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
