Homeless Services Contract with Harbor Homes OK'd

Harbor Homes of Nashua is to provide services to the homeless in $497,818 contract.

Governor Hassan and the Executive Council authorized a state agency to enter into a $497,818 contract Wednesday with Harbor Homes of Nashua to provide services to homeless individuals.

The contract, effective July 1, goes through June 30, 2015, and 40 percent of the contract would be paid by federal funds, and 60 percent through the state's general fund budget.

  • assistance in finding permanent housing,
  • employment counseling,
  • substance abuse counseling,
  • help in accessing other community services,
  • emergency shelter.
