Least expensive market is Redford, Michigan, where the average home costs $60,490; most expensive, Los Altos, CA., where the average home sells for $1,706,688.
As noted in the chart below, Nashua ranks in the mid-range, with an average home selling for about $277,244. New Hampshire's least expensive real estate market is Claremont, while the priciest homes are located in Hanover.

This year’s report analyzes more than 72,000 home listings in 2,500 U.S. markets, comparing the listing prices of similar homes in markets across the country from January 2012 to June 2012, according to Coldwell Banker.
