Hudson School Bus Crash After Student 'Disruption': Police

Hudson police said a school bus driver crashed into a dental office.

HUDSON, NH — A Hudson school bus driver crashed into a dental office Monday while turning around after a "disruption" by a student. The crash happened at about 2:30 p.m. at Hudson Endodontics on Central Street, according to Hudson Police Lieutenant David Cayot. No one was injured.

"An on scene investigation determined that (the school bus driver) was traveling east on Central Street when a student(s) became disruptive," Cayot said in a statement. "(The driver) pulled the school bus into the parking lot of 182 Central Street so she could turn around and return to Memorial School. While making a three point turn in the parking lot (the driver) struck 182 Central Street, Hudson Endodontics, causing minor damage to the building and the bus."

The driver was identified as a Londonderry woman.

"The students on the bus were transferred to another bus and transported home," Cayot continued. "The
parents of the students were notified of the accident by the Hudson School District."

No charges were announced.
