iPhone X: Nashua Police Recover 5 In Alleged Fraud
Nashua police said Jestin Almanzar, of New Jersey, scammed a New Hampshire resident and nearly stole $5,000 worth of iPhone X devices.

NASHUA, NH — A New Jersey man was recently arrested in Nashua on charges he scammed a New Hampshire resident and nearly stole $5,000 worth of iPhone X devices, police announced Tuesday. Jestin Almanzar, 20, of Fort Lee, New Jersey, was arrested Friday and charged with felony forgery and felony identity fraud.
"On November 30th , 2017, a Mont Vernon, New Hampshire resident noticed suspicious activity on their Verizon Wireless account," Nashua police Lieutenant Craig Allard said in a statement. "Five new lines of service were created and five iPhone X cellular telephones with a value of $4,999.95 were fraudulently ordered."
Officers identified that the phones were packaged and shipped to the Nashua UPS facility on Whipple Street..

"(Almanzar) arrived at (UPS) ... taking custody of the fraudulent package while displaying a fraudulent and fictitious United States passport card and fraudulent and fictitious Capital One credit card," Allard continued. "This subject was stopped by officers while still in possession of the fraudulent package and fictitious identification cards."
Almanzar was held on $7,500 bail pending an arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
