1. Google Yucks It Up for April Fool's Day: If it sounds too good to be true, it must be April 1 - Google Maps thought it would be fun to create a "treasure mode" feature in honor of this notorious day of pranks. Of course, the joke will be on Google when someone actually finds buried treasure by using their hoax map. Ha. Ha. Ha.

2. Want a Safer Car? There's an App for That: The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a new iOS app for iPhones and iPod touches that will provide real-time vehicle safety information to consumers from NHTSA’s SaferCar.gov site.
