Jeannotte's Market Robbed Monday Night
Police will be meeting with the Board of Aldermen Sept. 11 to discuss crime in the city.

Another robbery has residents feeling on edge, this time, Jeannotte's Market in Nashua's North end was robbed by a man with a gun.
Police confirmed the robbery at the popular store located at 2 Court Street, which happened at about 8:30 p.m. Monday night.
The crime was also reported online via Southern NH Emergency Alerts, which follows police activity via scanner chatter and posts happenings in real time.
Two aldermen, Jim Donchess and Diane Sheehan, reacted to the reported robbery on the social media network.
"This Jeannotte's holdup is very upsetting. Thank God that no one was hurt. I have known so many kids and adults who have worked at Jeannotte's over the years. I want to find out who was working tonight. I am sure I am not the only one in our neighborhood who feels sad and violated tonight. Now we know how the the residents of our other neighborhoods feel," wrote Donchess.
"I hope everyone is OK. We are in there all the time. Hope they got a good image on the cameras and catch the perp," wrote Sheehan.
Donchess went on to say that he requested a meeting with police a few weeks ago to discuss crime in the city after a string of armed robberies at other area convenience stores. The Police Chief and Commissioners will be meeting with the Board of Aldermen on Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in City Hall for that discussion.
"The last time we had a public meeting was after the Newtown incident when city officials held a public meeting to discuss concerns and what we were doing in the city to calm fears," Seusing said Sunday, of the planned meeting.
According to a description of the suspect, posted last night by Meg Doucette, who operates Southern New Hampshire Alerts, police were looking for a Hispanic male in his 20s, about 5-foot-6, medium build, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt with gray pockets, dark colored pants, dark colored sneakers, a black bandana over his face. He was reportedly carrying a handgun.
Jeannotte's was founded in 1899 and is the oldest store in continuing operation in Nashua.
