Hudson Man Killed, Merrimack Teen Medflighted After Crash
Hudson police said a man was killed and a teenager was seriously injured in a crash in Hudson Sunday on Dracut Road.

HUDSON, NH — A man was killed and a teenager was seriously injured in a crash in Hudson Sunday night, police said. The deceased was identified as Thomas Spillane, 53, of Hudson. The teen was identified as a 19-year-old from Merrimack. A 23-year-old from Nashua was also involved in the crash but uninjured, police said.
The crash happened on Dracut Road at about 8:30 p.m. near the Nashua border, according to Hudson police Sergeant Mike Davis. Spillane was driving a Toyota Corolla northbound on Dracut Road near Schaefer Circle when he crossed into the opposite lane and struck the teen, who was driving a Saturn. A 23-year-old Nashua man was also in the Saturn.
The collision was head-on, according to Davis. Spillane was pronounced dead at the scene. The teen was medflighted to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
