- 1 p.m. Senior Activity Center, 70 Temple Street: Justin Kates, Nashua's Emergency Management Director will discuss new emergency preparedness initiatives in the City, including the new Community Emergency Response Team free training and the CodeRED emergency notification system. Call Beth Todgham, Seniors Count-Nashua facilitator for Southern New Hampshire Services at (603) 889-3440 x 132 for more information. The workshop is one of a series of free programs designed to provide area residents with information on resources available to them as they age.
- 2 p.m. Granite State Independent Living presents a free program on
the arts and healing, and some current projects in Nashua with members of the Nashua Art Association at the GSIL Nashua Community Advocates Peer Support Group. Nashua Library/Hunt Room.
- 4 p.m. Names for position on the ballot for the Municipal General Election to be held on November 5 will be drawn in the Aldermanic Chambers

- 6:30 p.m. Hudson 9/11 Memorial Service, at Benson's Park at Guest speaker will be Retired NYPD Detective Spike Cutolo. Detective Cutolo spent many days at the World Trade Center Site after the attacks performing search and rescue and investigation operations.
