Nashua Assault Victim Hospitalized, Man Charged: Police
Nashua police said Jonathan Coffin was charged with second-degree assault after he assaulted an individual who required hospitalization.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Sunday on charges he assaulted a family member so badly the individual had to be hospitalized. Jonathan Coffin, 55, was charged with a host of crimes and held on $5,000 bail.
In a statement, Nashua police Lieutenant Robert Page said officers responded to a city address for a report of a domestic disturbance and encountered Coffin and the victim, who was not identified.
"The victim, known to Coffin, sustained non-life threatening physical injuries during the incident and received treatment from a nearby medical facility," Page said in a statement.

Coffin was charged with second-degree assault, assault, and assault (domestic violence-related). He will be arraigned Tuesday in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
