Nashua Bank Robbed; Police ID Suspect

Nashua police said Zachary Provost, of Connecticut, robbed a Nashua TD Bank.

NASHUA, NH — A Connecticut man robbed a Nashua bank Monday, according to police, and authorities are asking the public's help tracking him down. Zachary Provost, 32, allegedly robbed Nashua's TD Bank on Gusabel Avenue Monday at about 1:35 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact Nashua police at 603-594-3500. The department accepts anonymous tips via its crime line at 603-589-1665.

"(Provost) entered the bank, passed a note to a teller and demanded money," Nashua police Lieutenant Craig Allard said in a statement. "The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a red pickup truck bearing Connecticut registration 730ZYN."

The registration does not come back to a red pickup, Allard said.

Provos was last known to reside in Connecticut and is wanted in that state for a host of crimes, Allard said.

Provost is described as 6 feet 3 inches and 175 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes and a goatee. He has multiple tattoos, including stars on his neck. He was last seen wearing a CAT cap, American Eagle hooded sweatshirt, jeans and boots. The hveicle he was allegedly driving away in was described as a single-cab red pickup truck with back rack guard.
