Nashua High School North Students Heading to EurekaFest 2013
The annual MIT invention convention honors role models, and inspires the next generation of inventors.

A team of Nashua High School North students are heading to MIT in June, participating in EurekaFest 2013.
These young inventors earned their way by working on a bacteria-powered battery that runs off a composter, one of 16 teams from around the country that received up to $10,000 in seed money from the Lemelson-MIT Program, with the stipulation that they create something to aid under-served communities.
Their story was recently featured on NHPR, by correspondent Sheryl Rich-Kern, who captured the joy of being young scientists ready to graduate high school and find their place in the world.
