Nashua Opioid Crisis: Needle Exchange Reportedly Starting
New Hampshire recently approved needle exchange programs for opioid users.

NASHUA, NH — New Hampshire's second needle exchange program for opioid users will reportedly start in Nashua next month. New Hampshire Public Radio's Paige Sutherland reported the program will involve "recovery workers go into the community and provide clean needles, collect used ones, and provide resources for HIV/Hep C testing and treatment referrals."
New Hampshire lawmakers last year approved the controversial program in light of the opioid crisis. The programs first opened in Claremont and the Seacoast.
