Nashua Teen Murderer May Get Out Of Prison Early

Eduardo Lopez, convicted of gunning down a man in 1993, is set for a re-sentencing hearing, according to New Hampshire Public Radio.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua murderer sentenced to life in prison could get out early this week. New Hampshire Public Radio's Paige Sutherland reported Eduardo Lopez is set for a re-sentencing hearing this week. Lopez, 43, was convicted of gunning down a man in 1993 when Lopez was 17 years old. Lopez was sentenced to life in prison.

But U.S. the Supreme Court recent ruled a teenagers do not deserve life sentences such as the one Lopez received, spurring the re-sentencing hearing.
