Dumont has a criminal history that includes two theft convictions, according to Nashua police Lieutenant Craig Allard.

"On September 22, 2017 patrol officers responded to a local residence for a reported Burglary," Allard said in a statement. "The victims reported that they believed someone had broken into their home and several items were missing from within their residence ... During the investigation they learned that the defendant had pawned several items at two local pawn shops that were later identified as the burglary victim’s property."
