NH Snowmobiler's Machine Bursts Into Flames
A Massachusetts man's brand-new 2018 SkiDoo Renegade burst into flames in Wolfeboro, authorities said.
WOLFEBORO, MA — A Massachusetts man escaped serious injury after his brand-new snowmobile burst into flames in Wolfeboro this week, according to fire officials. The man was riding a local trail in the town Wednesday when his 2018 SkiDoo Renegade caught fire at about 1 p.m.
It took firefighters about a half-hour to control the inferno. The machine was "destroyed," fire officials said. No one was hurt.
"(The) cause of the incident appears accidental in nature and remains under investigation," Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue said in a statement.
