Man Accused of Changing Rx from 12 to 120 Pills
John Joyce is accused of trying to alter a prescription and trying to fill it at a local pharmacy.

John Joyce, 60, of 19 Meadow Lane, Nashua, was arrested March 27 after police say he tried to pass a prescription on which he'd allegedly altered the number of pills, from 20 to 120.
Joyce is charged with Acts Prohibited, class B felony.
At approximately 8:50 a.m. on March 27, Nashua Police responded to a pharmacy in Nashua where Joyce was attempting to pass an altered prescription. The Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation and allege Joyce fraudulently changed the quantity of meds prescribed, from 12 pills to 120 pills.

A Class B Felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive
of fines. Joyce was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail. Joyce is
scheduled for arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court on April 14, 2013.
