Stray Bullet Lodges in Second Story Window of Home

On March 25, 2013 at approximately 5:50 p.m., Hudson Police responded to a residence on Breakneck Road for the report of a bullet shot into a window.

Police determined a bullet had been fired from an area near the powerlines behind Breakneck Road. The bullet struck an upstairs window of a residence and was still lodged inside the glass. The area where the bullet was fired from is a common area where individuals "target practice."

No injuries were reported.

Hudson Police would like to remind the public of the law of a 300-foot buffer zone from all residences when firing weapons and that each citizen is reponsible for every bullet that is fired from their weapon.
