Stray Bullet Lodges in Second Story Window of Home

Police are looking for someone who was target shooting behind the power lines in connection with the shooting incident.

On March 25, 2013 at approximately 5:50 p.m., Hudson Police responded to a residence on Breakneck Road for the report of a bullet shot into a window.

Police determined a bullet had been fired from an area near the powerlines behind Breakneck Road. The bullet struck an upstairs window of a residence and was still lodged inside the glass. The area where the bullet was fired from is a common area where individuals "target practice."

No injuries were reported.

Hudson Police would like to remind the public of the law of a 300-foot buffer zone from all residences when firing weapons and that each citizen is reponsible for every bullet that is fired from their weapon. Police also request anyone with information as to who was firing weapons in the Breakneck Road area on Monday afternoon to contact Officer Cassandra Avery at the Hudson Police Department, (603) 886-6011.
