What's Your Vision for the Former 'Just Lights' at 33 Main St.?
Out with the old, in with something new?
After a century of lighting up the corner of Main and Franklin streets, Just Lights has relocated its family-owned light fixture showroom and warehouse to 100 Factory St., Unit 1-A, in anticipation of the Broad Street Parkway.
That means a great historic space is available for rent at 33 Main St., also known as the Whiting Building. Landlord Dmitry Zhivotovsky says the available 3,270 sf can be rented in its entirety, or broken up into three office spaces, as described on LoopNet, including about 1,200 sf in the basement, and 1,000 each on the ground and second floors, for $17-20 per sf.
The location is a high-traffic, high-profile section of Main Street, with some dedicated parking in the back and on-street parking on both Main and Franklin Streets. It's a quick walk to Bonhoeffer's Cafe, and sits in close proximity to a couple of pizza places, a church, a smoke shop, a pub, a music store, the railroad tracks, a Dunkin' Donuts, a tattoo parlour and breathtaking view of the river.
