Visions for Vacancies: 78-80 Main Street
What's your vision for the former Saffron Bistro?
After shock over news that popular downtown eatery Saffron Bistro abruptly closed its doors May 18 subsided, the bigger question of what would be next for the prominent Main Street location began to circulate.
We'd like to know: What is your vision for this vacancy?
The building, 78-80 Main St., is currently for sale by owner Harbor Homes for an asking price of $775,000, according to Scott Slattery, manager of special projects at Harbor Homes.
The building features 7,500 square feet across three levels, and is in move-in condition, including the main floor restaurant and bar, with upstairs office space, and basement storage.
There is room for outdoor seating along that stretch of Main Street, which was renovated during Phase 1 of the downtown sidewalk project. It also has an adjacent parking lot.
"They're actually painting and cleaning it – we're showing it right now," Slattery said.
There is no broker involved. Interested parties should contact Harbor Homes at 603-882-3616.
