5 Places to Watch Super Bowl XLVII in Portsmouth
The city is blessed with several great sports bars where football fans can watch the 49ers and Ravens and enjoy one another's company.

OK, the Patriots didn't make it to Super Bowl XLVII, but today's game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens promises to be a great match up, and the grand spectacle of the Super Bowl in New Orleans alone is always worth watching.
Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. and several Portsmouth sports bars and restaurants want football fans to come early and enjoy great deals on beer and tailgate party fare.

1. Paddy's American Grille: This sports bar and restaurant at Pease International Tradeport features plenty of large flat-screen TVs as well as TVs inside every booth and pool tables. On Super Bowl Sunday, Paddy's is doing a buffet from 6 p.m. to half-time. It is $17 for adults and $12 for children. Portsmouth radio station WHEB will be doing a live broadcast and giving away some great prizes.
2. Mojo's BBQ Grill and Tavern: For football fans who love delicious barbecue spare ribs and ice cold beer, Mojo's is a great choice to watch the Super Bowl. The restaurant also features plenty of large flat-screen TVs.

3. The Page: If you can't make it to New Orleans, watching the 49ers battle the Ravens at The Page sports bar and restaurant may be the next best thing. The sports bar features a few large, flat-screen TVs and plenty of sports memorabilia autographed by many of Boston's greatest athletes.
4. The Rusty Hammer: This continues to be one of Portsmouth's oldest and most popular restaurants to watch big sports events. With a huge flat-screen TV in the main dining room and a great game time menu, it continues to be a happening place for the big games.
5. State Street Saloon: Right across the street from the Rusty Hammer, the State Street Saloon also enjoys a great reputation for being a great place to watch big games. The restaurant will also offer great deals on beer and menu items.
