AG, Police to Hold Presser on Missing UNH Student

Law enforcement agencies to share details about the disappearance of Elizabeth Marriott.

The New Hampshire Attorney General's office and several law enforcement agencies will hold a press conference on Saturday at 1 p.m. to share details about the investigation into the disappearance of UNH student Elizabeth Marriott.

According to New Hampshire Attorney General Michael Delaney, the press conference will be held at the Dover Police Station. Besides Delaney, Dover Police Chief Anthony Colarusso, Portsmouth Police Chief Stephen DuBois, Chester Police Chief William Burke, State Police Col. Robert Quinn, and Federal Bureau of Investigation Supervisory Special Agent in Charge of the Bedford office Kieran Ramsey will also be at the press conference.

Delaney's press release also indicates that Marriott is dead. "If anyone has any information pertaining to Elizabeth's death, they should contact the Dover Police Department at (603) 742-4646 or the New Hampshire State Police at (603) 271-3636."

Marriott was first reported missing on Tuesday night after she completed a class at UNH and was on her way to a friend's apartment in Dover. The search was intensified on Friday and Portsmouth Police closed down Prescott Park and Peirce Island Road on Friday night and Saturday morning to search for Marriott's body after they received some information.
