Bouncer Punched in the Face Downtown

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Friday, Aug. 9 to Saturday, Aug. 10.
Friday:
- At 9:41 a.m., police reported a stolen bicycle on Weald Road.
- At 10:39 a.m., police reported a theft of sunglasses and change from a vehicle on Suzanne Drive.
- At 11:30 a.m., police reported a theft of prescription drugs from a vehicle on Weald Road.
- At 3:38 p.m., police reported the theft of a wedding band on Lafayette Road.
- At 11:12 p.m., police reported the theft of some jewelry from a hotel room on Market Street.
- At 1 a.m., police reported a fight with four people on Hanover Street.
- At 3:40 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Gosling Road after the caller said someone was in the parking lot and threw rocks at windows.
- At 1:58 p.m., police reported criminal threatening at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a man threatened to shoot staff before he left the facility.
- At 2:01 p.m., police reported the theft of a wheelchair at Portsmouth Regional Hospital on Borthwick Avenue.
- At 6:21 p.m., police reported criminal mischief at Oriental Gardens after the caller said some kids were throwing rocks at his trailer.
- At 6:38 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Lafayette Road after the caller said his vehicle's driver's side window was smashed.
- At 9:38 p.m., police reported a simple assault on Market Street after a bouncer was punched in the face by a male subject.
