Archer Western Contractors crews were hard at work this morning securing the north span of the new Memorial Bridge to the Maine side of the Piscataqua River.

According to Archer Western Contractors officials, the float-in began at about 1 a.m. on Wednesday. Earlier on Tuesday, crews moved the north span on the Cape Cod barge to the other side of the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge to get it ready for its final leg.

On Badger's Island in Kittery on Wednesday morning, one Archer Western Contractors crew member said, "one more span to go." What follows is a video and some photos of the activity happening this morning on the north span.
