Busker Sings for the Troops

Eric Berglund is proud to call himself a busker and has performed his songs to raise money for different causes all over New England.

On Friday afternoon, Berglund was playing his guitar and singing "Bring Them Home Now (Letters from Home)" in Market Square to raise money for the Wounded Warriors Project. Busking has always been a common sight in downtown Portsmouth and Berglund said he has always enjoyed playing his music in the city because "Portsmouth is such dynamic place."

What follows is a video of Berglund performing a song he wrote after he left the Army in the early 1980s and found letters that his father had written him from home.
