Car Crashes Into House; Acton, Mass. Driver Arrested On DWI
A driver crashed into a building which led to the Acton, Massachusetts, driver being charged with DWI.
ROCHESTER, NH — On March 16, 2020, at approximately 7:27 p.m. Rochester police, Rochester firefighters, and Frisbie EMS responded to Charles Street for the report of a single vehicle accident. Emergency personnel arrived on scene to find a single vehicle into the building. The investigation revealed that Jennifer Smith, 49 of Acton, Massachusetts, was operating a Ford Taurus traveling north on Charles Street when it left the roadway.
The vehicle sustained heavy damage. Smith had one passenger, a 49-year-old woman from Lowell, MA. Both were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital, for non life threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, Smith was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, a class B misdemeanor.
