Christmas Presents Stolen from Home After Delivery

The following information was provided by the Portsmouth Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log on Thursday, Dec. 5.

Thursday:

  • At 6:45 a.m., police arrested a Concord man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he was detained by Concord Police and transported to the McDonald's restaurant at the Lee traffic circle. Todd Farr, 27, of 74 Rumford St. was wanted for conduct after an accident.
  • At 9:41 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident on Market Street that involved a UHaul truck without injury.
  • At 10:29 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Weald Road after the caller said a woman was cutting up her things.
  • At 12:11 p.m., police reported a two-car accident on Exeter Street and New Hampshire Avenue where the driver of the second vehicle involved left the scene.
  • At 12:26 p.m., police reported credit card fraud on Woodbury Avenue.
  • At 1:52 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Hillside Drive after the caller found a piece of vinyl siding on the ground.
  • At 3:25 p.m., police reported a two-car accident on Highliner Avenue without injury.
  • At 5:04 p.m., police reported a two-car accident on Lafayette and Elwyn roads without injury.
  • At 5:39 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on Oakwood Drive. Gary Forner, 33, of 10 Oakwood Drive was wanted on a bench warrant.
  • At 5:50 p.m., police reported a theft of two Christmas packages from a home on Middle Road that were valued at $70.
  • At 10:17 p.m., police arrested a Dover woman on drug charges on Woodbury Avenue. Janitta Rose Ross, 23, of 48 Fourth St., Apt. 1, was charged with  possession of controlled narcotic drugs and possession of controlled narcotic drugs in a motor vehicle.
