A Portsmouth teen who allegedly drugged and then raped a female victim in July was ordered held on $15,000 cash bail Thursday in Portsmouth Circuit Court.
Grant L. Michallyszyn, 17, of 80 Fleet St., Apt. 3-9, had a video arraignment from the Rockingham County Jail after he was arrested by Portsmouth Police on Wednesday for possession of controlled drug with intent to sell and aggravated felonious sexual assault.
Michallyszyn was already in custody for drug charges brought by the New Hampshire State Police.
According to court documents, Michallyszyn allegedly gave his female victim a dose of Clonazepam before he allegedly raped her in July.
Judge Sawato Gardner ordered that Michallyszyn have no contact with the victim or her family, observe a 7 p.m. curfer if he were to post bail, and report to probation for weekly, random drug and alcohol testing as well as be subject to random home visits.
If Michallyszyn does post the cash bail, he would also be subject to a Nebbia hearing to verify the source of those funds given the drug charge against him. He is scheduled to appear in court for a probable cause hearing on Aug. 26 at 1 p.m., according to court documents.
