City Woman Charged with Theft
Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Monday, Oct. 8 through Tuesday, Oct. 9.
Monday:
- At 10:58 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Commerce Way after the caller said the windows on a van had been smashed out.
- At 2:17 p.m., police reported a theft on Arthur Brady Drive.

- At 12:09 p.m., police reported fraud at the Mazda dealership on the Spaulding Turnpike northbound after the caller said two checks presented for payment turned out to be fraudulent.
- At 12:37 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the police station. Crystal Dufault, 30, of 600 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth was wanted for theft or lost or mislaid property.
- At 2:44 p.m., police reported the theft of a bicycle.
