City Woman to Appear on Wheel of Fortune
Mary Carlson is scheduled to make her debut on national television on Friday.

Mary Carlson of Portsmouth will be a contestant on “Wheel of Fortune” on Friday, February 22.
Mary is a huge fan of “Wheel” and has been watching the show for more than 20 years. She is married and works as a mortgage loan officer. Mary will be appearing during “Pet Lovers” week and is the proud owner of her dog, Samantha.
In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking, knitting and stamping. Mary hopes to win a trip on the show so she can go on vacation with her husband. She tried out to be a contestant at a Wheelmobile event in Palm Beach, Fla.

Currently in its 30th season in syndication, Wheel of Fortune continues to be America’s most popular game show. Created by Merv Griffin in 1975 as an NBC daytime show, Wheel of Fortune is based on the popular game “Hangman.” Pat Sajak and Vanna White have hosted the show since its debut in syndication in 1983.
