Clip Joint to Cut Loose to New Location
Long-time barber shop will move to new space on Daniel Street in March.
Sandy Cole, one of the 10 hair stylists who works at the Clip Joint Barbers on Pleasant Street, said they and their loyal customers couldn't be happier about the news that the long-time business has found a new home.
Cole said Tuesday that the barber shop owned by Debbie Oliver will move to a new space on Daniel Street currently occupied by the FA Gray paint store during the first week of March.
"We are really excited about it," Cole said.

Finding a new location is big news for the business, which was notified by its current landlord that it would have to find new digs last fall after the former owner passed away. Cole said the Clip Joint has been cutting people's hair there for 30 years.
She said the new location, which is right next to Moe's Italian Sandwiches, offers a bigger space and a great location with strong foot traffic. She also believes the Clip Joint will attract some new customers when it relocates.
