'Creepy Looking' Man Reported in Parking Garage Stairwell

The following information was provided by the Portsmouth Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Jan. 29

  • 9:20 a.m.: An out-of-control patient reportedly damaged some medical equipment on Borthwick Avenue.
  • 12:55 p.m.: Vincent A. Pittore, 18, of 213 Bypass 28, Derry was arrested on a warrant and charged with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault.
  • 2:02 p.m.: An accident was reported on Washington Street.
  • 3:58 p.m.: A car into a snowbank was reported on South Street.
  • 5:20 p.m.: A woman on Edmond Avenue reported that someone cut limbs off her tree and left them in her yard.
  • 7:43 p.m.: A suspicious male was reported in the High Street stairwell of the parking garage. The caller said the man was "creepy looking" and was cupping something in his hand.
  • 9:53 p.m: An airport emergency was reported at Pease International Airport. A KC-135 with three people on board experienced a flight control problem. The alert was later cancelled.
