Downtown Portsmouth Parking Ban For Snow Removal

Portsmouth Public Works officials announced a parking ban for snow removal after a storm dumped more than a half-foot of snow.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Portsmouth officials on Tuesday announced a downtown parking ban for snow removal. The ban starts Tuesday at 8 p.m. and continue through Wednesday at 8 a.m. More than a half-foot of snow fell on the city over the weekend.

Violators will have their vehicles towed. During the ban, parking is available at the Hanover Parking Garage for a flat $5 fee from Tuesday at 6 p.m. through Wednesday at 8 a.m. Parking is also available at the Foundry Parking Garage for a flat $3 fee for the same time frame. The flat rate is available to Portsmouth residents only.
