NEWINGTON, NH — A drunk driver was arrested Friday morning after sideswiping a New Hampshire State Police cruiser and tow truck on the Spaulding Turnpike then fleeing the scene, according to police. Robyn Dubois, 25, of Dover, faces multiple charges. Police said the crash happened in Newington at about 12:45 a.m.
A trooper and an individual accused of driving while intoxicated were inside the cruiser at the time of the crash, police said. They were not hurt. Dubois, who was driving a Toyota sport utility vehicle, narrowly missed hitting the tow truck driver standing on the road, according to police.
Dubois kept driving after the crash and stopped in a driveway on Boston Harbor Road in Dover, where Dover police located her, police said.
