Eliot, Maine Man Charged with DWI
Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.
The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 4.
Thursday:
- At 6:05 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Lafayette Road who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Andrew Harris, 22, of 600 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth was wanted for an arrest warrant out of Texas.
- At 10:01 a.m., police reported air gun offenses on Albacore Way after a landscaping company worker said he was struck by an air gun pellet, but was not injured and did not require medical attention.
- At 8:06 p.m., police reported a theft of an iPod from a vehicle on Echo Avenue.
- At 8:39 p.m., police reported an animal call on Woodbury Avenue after the caller said she was bitten by a dog on the mouth and had to go to the York Hospital emergency room for treatment.

- At 10:24 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who turned himself in at the police station and was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Andrew D. Hagan, 20, of 125 Saratoga Way, Apt. 1., in Portsmouth was wanted for reckless conduct; placing another in danger.
- At 1:48 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Elvin A. Mayo, 61, of 10 Dwight Ave. in Portsmouth was wanted for being a sex offender with a duty to report.
- At 3:18 p.m., police reported the theft of four tires valued at $500 on Longmeadow Road.
Saturday:
- At 12:51 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man following a disorderly conduct complaint on Fleet Street. Michael C. Tilley, 26, of 17 Wedgewood Road in Portsmouth was charged with resisting arrest or detention.
- At 1:31 a.m., police reported a theft of a purse with a cell phone inside of it at The Page Sports Bar and Restaurant on Hanover Street.
- At 8:52 a.m., police reported a road rage incident that stemmed from an accident on Gosling Road and Woodbury Avenue.
- At 2:16 p.m., police arrested an Eliot, Maine man for drunken driving on Lafayette Road and Longmeadow Road. John R. Barton, 52, of 12 Staples St. in Eliot, Maine was charged with conduct after an accident, driving after revocation or suspension and driving while intoxicated.
- At 5:15 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Middle Street after the caller said he was trying to enter a building. Jeffrey M. Trenholm, 50, of address unknown, Portsmouth was charged with criminal trespass.
- At 7:25 p.m., police arrested a Berwick, Maine woman after she turned herself in at the police station after she was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Katherine R. Perry, 38, of 101 School St. in Berwick, Maine, was wanted for unauthorized taking of a propelled vehicle/rent and theft of services.

- At 1:07 a.m., police reported a road rage incident on Market Street and I-95 after the caller said he was at an intersection and got into a verbal argument with another driver who threw a beer bottle at his car before taking off down I-95 southbound.
