Eliot, Maine Man Nabbed for Shoplifting

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 16.

Thursday:

  • At 12:39 p.m., police arrested an Eliot, Maine man on Congress Street for shoplifting. Jacob Thomas Fineco, 20, of 230 Pleasant St. in Eliot, Maine, was charged with theft (removing merchandise from premises), resisting arrest or detention, and default or breach of bail conditions.
  • At 12:45 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Chapel and Daniel streets who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Robert Eugene Provost, Jr., 21, of address unknown, Apt. 34, in Portsmouth was wanted on a bench warrant.
  • At 1:40 p.m., police arrested a Rochester man who was being held at the Strafford County Jail in Dover on drug charges. Ryan James Constantino, 29, of 114 Maple St. in Rochester was wanted for two counts of sale of controlled narcotic drugs.
  • At 5:19 p.m., police arrested a Cape Neddick, Maine woman on Market Street who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Alix Landry, 25, of 155 Ogunquit Road in Cape Neddick, Maine, was wanted on a bench warrant.

  • At 3:30 p.m., police reported a theft on Lafayette Road after the caller said a male subject stole a computer from a store.
  • At 3:58 p.m., police arrested an Exeter man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Anthony Mazzetta, 22, of 1 Tilton Ave. in Exeter was wanted for simple assault.
