FBI, AG Continue to Investigate Police Brutality Claim

The 2009 incident came to light last month when the alleged victim posted a video on YouTube.

Investigators from the FBI and the state Attorney General's Office are continuing to investigate a video depicting police brutality within the Seabrook Police Station, according to the Newburyport Daily News.

Seabrook Police Chief Leo Bitomske told the newspaper that his department has put its internal investigation into the incident on hold for now so the federal and state agencies can conduct their investigations.

The three officers involved in the 2009 incident have been on paid administrative leave since the video was first made public last month.
